Chilli con Carne


Serves: 4

Cooking time: 20 minut​​es

INGREDIENTS

1 tbpsn coconut oil

750g grass-fed lean minced beef

1 onion diced

4 large tomatoes chopped

1 red pepper

150g diced mushrooms

1 tin organic chopped tomatoes

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

2 tsp chilli powder

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Salt and pepper to taste

(Remove kidney beans for Paleo)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

(1.) Heat the coconut oil on a medium heat in a large saucepan and add the onions

(2.) Add in the mince once the onions have softened and break it apart with the spoon

(3.) Once the mince has began to lighten, add in the spices and stir them in

(4.) Add in the tinned tomatoes, peppers, balsamic vinegar, mushrooms and tomatoes and turn the heat down to a medium to low heat

(5.) Let the chilli simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally

(6.) Serve with fresh coriander, cauliflower rice and coconut yogurt!
