Turkey & Chorizo Burgers

Serves: 8

Preparation time: 20 mins

Cooking time: 15 mins

INGREDIENTS

500g organic turkey breast mince

1 diced chorizo sausage

Handful chopped

fresh basil

Pinch of maldon salt

Ground black pepper

Juice of 1 lime

1 tbspn extra virgin olive oil

1 diced red onion

1 organic egg

1 tbspn smoke paprika

1 tspn organic coconut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

(1.) Prepare and measure all your ingredients before starting

(2.) Using your hands, mix together the turkey mince, chorizo, red onion, egg and basil until the mixture has binded

(3.) Add the extra virgin olive oil, lime, black pepper and paprika to add flavour and mix them in

(4.) Take a big handful of the mixture and roll it into a ball

(5.) Press the ball onto baking paper and flatten it into a burger shape

(6.) Repeat this until all the mixture has been moulded

(7.) Add the burgers to a hot, non-stick frying pan with a tspn of coconut oil

(8.) Cook for 6-7 minutes each side

(9.) Serve with organic bacon, poached or fried egg and garnish with salad

(10.) Enjoy!
